Abbett Avenue is a Place to Call Home for Two Homeless Families (cont.)

The Agency committed funding to this project from the Special Needs Housing Trust Fund (SNHTF) and HSI is currently working with Agency staff to close on the  loan.  Dan McGuire, Director of the Headquarters Development Division of HSI, said "Life-changing opportunities like these are made possible through successful partnerships like this one.  We are grateful to the funding from the HMFA SNHTF, and appreciate the diligent effort of HMFA staff to advance the project along the way." 
 
HSI is currently the largest provider of homeless shelter and services in Morris County specializing in offering shelter, supportive services and housing to homeless and low-income individuals and families.  Their goal is to increase the supply of affordable housing through construction and renovation, and to promote advocacy for low- and moderate-income people.  For more information, visit their website at www.homelesssolutions.org.
