HMFA CHOICE Program Helps Rescue Contaminated Site (cont.)

Now remediated, the site will be home to a $10 million, 42-unit residential development known as the Catherine S. Graham Square after the late civil rights activist who headed the Trenton Chapter of the NAACP.

HMFA assisted the project with a $2.7 million construction loan and a $2.6 million subsidy from the CHOICE program, which will ensure that a portion of the homes are affordable to low- and moderate-income residents.

Considering the history of this site, the dedication of the local community members who worked to clean it up and the quality of the homes that the new residents can look forward to, HMFA is truly proud to be a part of this success story.
